Design & Custom Pieces
How does the custom process work?
Every piece begins with an idea. You can come to us with a fully formed vision or simply a reference point. From there, we refine the concept, source stones, and develop a design tailored specifically to you, before bringing it to life.
Can I customize a design from your website?
Yes. Every Studio Juvae piece is designed to be adaptable. Stone size, colour, and finer details can all be adjusted to suit your preference.
What do you need to get started?
A general direction is enough. This can be inspiration images, a stone shape you love, or even just a feeling you want the piece to carry. We’ll guide you through the rest.
How long does production take?
All pieces are made to order. Our Staple designs are handcrafted within 10-15 business days before shipping. Bespoke pieces typically require 3 to 4 weeks, depending on design complexity and approval timing.
Diamonds & Materials
What kind of diamonds do you use?
We work with natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and a range of gemstones, allowing each piece to be tailored to your preference.
Are your diamonds certified?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are IGI certified, and natural diamonds are GIA certified, ensuring accurate grading and authenticity.
Do you offer alternatives to diamonds?
Yes. We offer moissanite and both natural or lab-created gemstones, giving you flexibility in both look and composition.
Can I see my stone before it’s set?
Yes. We provide curated options along with detailed visuals so you can confidently select your stone.
Pricing
What determines the price of a piece?
Pricing is driven by the stone, metal choice, and the complexity of the design. Once we understand your vision, we’ll guide you through options that align with your budget.
Do you offer quotes before starting?
Yes. Every custom piece is quoted before production begins, so you have full clarity.
Orders & Production
Are your pieces ready to ship?
No. Each piece is made to order. This allows us to maintain a higher level of intention, quality, and flexibility in design.
Can I make changes after placing my order?
Adjustments may be possible early in the process. Once production has begun, changes become limited.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
We offer worldwide shipping.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary by location, but most orders arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch.
Is my order insured?
Yes. All orders are fully insured while in transit.
Will I have to pay duties or taxes?
International orders may be subject to duties or import taxes, which are the responsibility of the client.
Care & Responsibility
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and necessary adjustments, such as stone tightening.
How should I care for my piece?
We recommend removing your jewelry during heavy activity, avoiding exposure to chemicals, and cleaning gently with mild soap and a soft brush.
For full protection, we suggest insuring your piece once received.
Payments & Policies
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, along with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal.
Do you require a deposit for custom work?
Yes. A $100 design deposit is required to begin your custom piece.
This deposit covers the design and CAD development process, along with sourcing and presenting curated stone options through detailed videos and visuals so you can confidently make your selection.
Once your design is finalized, you will receive an invoice for the full piece. Production and final stone procurement begin only after full payment has been made.
Do you accept returns?
All Studio Juvae pieces are made to order. For that reason, all sales are final.
